One offer per household for new customers only. “Get up to 20 free meals” is based on the HelloFresh 4-person x 5 recipe plan which equates to 20 servings per box where servings are represented as “meals”. “20 free meals” is based on the redemption of the first 2 boxes in a subscription where a customer will receive 60% of the servings and 41% of the second box of servings for free, which equates to 20 servings or “meals”. Customers will also receive additional discounts after the second box between their third and eighth boxes if they choose to continue. FAQ
How It Works
With a Rocket Doctor chat subscription, you can purchase virtual doctor appointments, in advance, for the year ahead.
Once you have chosen your package you’ll be allotted a number of appointments for the entire year, from the date your plan was purchased. You will be sent appointment codes for each of your chat sessions. These numbers are basically the same as a gift card / cash, you’ll need to keep these safe and secure.
Once your initial subscription has been paid for you will be given a secure login to access your new patient portal. Here, you can set up your personal information and request chat appointments at an available time that suits you.
Our Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) team can be accessed within the Patient Portal and are on hand to assist you with booking appointments, follow ups and any queries that you might have.
Each time a chat appointment is required (whether first visit through the website or follow up visits through the patient portal) an active appointment code will be needed.
If it is your first time logging into your account, please navigate to your Profile page and fill in the required personal fields that have an asterisk (*) and save it.
After your Profile page is updated, navigate to the Home page and select the “Set Up an Appointment” button. Here, you will chat with a Patient Care Coordinator who will send you everything you need to get to your appointment.
If you use your appointment allowance before the end of the year, you can either upgrade your package and pay the difference in cost, or you can use the on-demand chat service and pay $55 for each subsequent appointment.
If you are reaching the end of the year and you still have more appointments that you need, these can either be gifted to family and friends, or, any unused appointments will be donated. Through Rocket Doctor’s ‘Pay Care Forward’ initiative, these will be donated to low-income Ontarians who are in need of access to healthcare.
Yes you can. Chat subscription packages can be purchased for a friend or family member or, a chosen amount of your yearly visits can be gifted to anyone of your choosing, providing you don’t exceed the maximum limit of patients for your plan.
If you choose to share your appointment code(s) with other individuals (within the limits of your plan), on their first booking; they will use the code, connect with a PCC, and also be given a unique login to the patient portal.
Currently, Rocket Doctor’s chat subscription packages are only available to purchase up-front for the annual cost of the plan.
Due to the nature of our planning process and services, we cannot provide refunds after purchase. Please treat each appointment certificate as cash. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen certificates, and will not provide refunds in such situations.

Information: As a result of decisions made by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) and the Ontario Ministry of Health, virtual primary care and urgent care services are unfortunately no longer a service that patients can access for free on Rocket Doctor. Patients with OHIP can access virtual care services through Rocket Doctor’s live text chat service.
