Dr. Raymond Lim is a comprehensive family physician in Mississauga, Ontario, with a special focus on mental health. He was previously the Physician Lead of Mental Health at Health One Medical Clinic in Toronto, and received his training in psychotherapy at The University of Toronto. He is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MSBR), and Attachment Theory. He is a dual certified yoga instructor in Yin and Vinyasa Yoga, a meditation leader, as well as a practitioner of Shaolin Qi Gong. He incorporates this into somatic work that he uses to help clients release stored trauma in their bodies.

Dr. Lim is a CCFP-EM trained physician who started off his career as an emergency room physician at Trillium Health Partners, where he held multiple leadership roles. During this time, he was a lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. He has also completed all training modules from the Institute of Functional Medicine in Washington, D.C. under Dr. Mark Hyman.

Prior to entering medical school, he was recipient of the 1995 Mississauga Young Citizen of the Year, 1997 B’Nai Brith Human Rights Award, and also the 2001 Founder’s Gold Medal upon graduation from undergraduate studies at The University of Toronto at Mississauga for personal qualities as well as academic achievement.

As a community-based Social Worker, I have spent over 15 years building and developing my professional skills. I value individuality and tailor my services to the needs of families, children, and individuals. I have been fortunate to work in the fields of mental health, addiction, child welfare, housing and food insecurity, chronic illness/pain, crisis intervention, mindfulness, and counseling.

Stefania Bonanno is a registered social worker with over 10 years of experience working across the GTA, in various community organizations. Most recently she has been working in Toronto, supporting those accessing a local community health centre. Stefania completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Social Work at York University in Toronto, Ontario. Since then, she has continuously completed various trainings to develop her therapeutic skills. Some of which include: completing Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry course, trauma informed care, Internal Family systems, Somatic trainings, and attachment theory. Stefania has worked with people from various social locations, ages and have various concerns including but not limited to those who use substances, have mental challenges and have experienced various forms of trauma.

Stefania practices from a trauma- informed, anti-oppressive and harm reduction perspective. She knows how hard it is to start and continue therapy, so she is client-centred and focuses on building a safe and secure therapeutic relationship. Stefania supports clients to find their own strength and resilience and to take control of their lives. She believes in treating clients with respect, dignity and care.
