How Rocket Doctor Works

Tell us about you

Click the Book Now button or give us a call to speak with a patient care coordinator who will assess your needs and send an intake form to be completed prior to your appointment. The intake form will ask questions about your substance use, lifestyle, and treatment goals to help the doctor identify how to best provide you care.

1 hour comprehensive assessment

Speak with a doctor or physician’s assistant for a custom treatment plan.

Follow-up visits

Attend as many follow-up visits as you need to get support with your treatment plan, address any question, and get help with symptoms of withdrawal if necessary.

Pay Nothing Out of Pocket

We bill OHIP directly. As a covered Ontario resident, you pay nothing.

What is a Rapid Access Clinic?

Rapid access clinics are walk-in style clinics that patients can attend to get help for a substance use disorder without an appointment or referral. We offer mental health care, which includes counselling, referrals to community services, pharmacotherapy (prescriptions to help ease withdrawal and cravings), and more. 

For those who see an emergency department visit or relapse as their only options, know that we are working hard to build a culture and system that breaks down many of the traditional barriers to accessing care when it is needed the most.
