After your appointment, you will receive an automatic receipt for your credit card charge. You will receive an itemized receipt via email 3-5 business days later. Submit the itemized receipt and the credit card receipt receipt to MSP for reimbursement following their guidelines. Reimbursement typically takes 10–12 weeks.
You can access regular medical services, including medical advice, prescriptions, and other care similar to what you’d receive from a BC physician.
No additional documentation is required to book your appointment.
Yes, Ontario physicians can prescribe medication for patients in BC.
Yes, your medical records are securely shared to ensure continuity of care.
If MSP doesn’t reimburse the service, you can appeal their decision by submitting the necessary forms accurately. However, reimbursement is ultimately at MSP’s discretion.

- For “Reason for Absence,” indicate you used a virtual Ontario physician due to BC physician unavailability.
3.Submit Your Claim:
